Lord Howe Higuera
Lord Howe Higuera (Pacific, Tasman Sea). Ficus macrophylla subsp. columnaris. Lord Howe Island is a terrestrial ecoregion, known as the subtropical forests of Lord Howe Island. It is part of the Australasia ecozone, and has many bioafinidades with Australia, New Guinea and New Caledonia. Lord Howe Island was never part of a continent, and all its flora and fauna colonized the island across the seas. Almost half of the plants that grow on the island are endemic.
