Chimpanzees
The common chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes) is a species of hominid primate own tropical Africa. Chimps-with-bonobo are the closest living relatives to humans, their evolutionary branch split from the human branch of about 7 million years and 96% share DNA with them. We find chimpanzees in the tropical forests and wet savannas of West and Central Africa.
