Chapela Marina

Chapela Marina. Access is restricted to small vessels and low tide. From the coast Punta Pious gains in depth and free of stones. Discharged southern end starts the port whose maximum draft does not exceed two meters. Between St. Simon Island and the islet of San Antonio is a step for smaller vessels. Arcade is a port of one meter deep on sand as it is located in what is called the bottom of the estuary, where sediments accumulate dragging the rivers that flow into the bay.
