Rande Bridge
Rande Bridge is a suspension bridge opened in 1978 linking the municipalities of Redondela and Moaña, Rande Strait margins in the Ria de Vigo. It was designed by Italian engineer Fabrizio de Miranda, Spanish Florencio del Pozo (who was also responsible for the foundation) and Alfredo Passaro. Since opening to traffic in 1981, have passed the 231 million vehicles, currently supporting a traffic of about 50,000 vehicles daily. At the time of its opening was the longest suspension bridge in the world. Also was the bridge, of any kind, Spain's longest. It measures 1558 m. total length.
