London: Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum, South Kensington, London, is one of the three major museums located on the street Exhibition Road in Kensington (the others are the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum). The museum has a varied collection of more than 70 million specimens and exhibits. The five most important collections are those corresponding to the areas of botany, entomology, mineralogy, paleontology and zoology. The museum is known for its large central hall showing various dinosaur skeletons, including a huge Diplodocus that dominates the entrance to the building.
